In 1922, a group of local visionaries came together with a simple belief: financial services should exist to serve people, not profit from them.

That belief became Rockland Federal Credit Union, a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution built to help individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals. For more than a century, we've remained committed to that mission, serving generations of members across Massachusetts with trusted guidance, competitive products, and a genuine investment in the communities we call home.

As we grew, however, our name began to present challenges.

Many people assumed membership was limited to Rockland residents or employees, when in reality our field of membership had expanded far beyond a single town. We also encountered increasing confusion with other organizations that shared similar names. Most importantly, our identity no longer reflected the broader communities, businesses, and members we serve today - or our vision for the future.

That's why we became Arise Financial.

Arise Financial represents growth, opportunity, and the belief that financial services should help people move forward with confidence. It reflects who we've become while honoring where we started.

While our name has changed, our foundation has not.

We remain a federally chartered, member-owned credit union dedicated to putting people first. Our legal name is Arise Federal Credit Union, and we proudly do business as Arise Financial. Every member remains an owner, and every decision we make continues to be guided by the same principles that shaped Rockland Federal Credit Union more than 100 years ago.

Because this isn't a new organization.

It's the next chapter of the same story.
